Payroll Officer

To strengthen our HR team based in Genval, we are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Payroll Officer.

About the job

As a Payroll Officer, you play a key role in the administrative and operational management of Human Resources. You ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing and provide high-quality HR support to employees.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing payroll and tracking working hours
  • Responding to employees’ questions and providing appropriate HR advice
  • Handling daily HR administration (contracts, social documents, absences, etc.)
  • Ensuring compliance with Belgian labor legislation and staying up to date with legal changes
  • Managing specific cases such as temporary unemployment, work accidents, and medical check-ups
  • Providing administrative support for HR projects and contributing to the continuous improvement of HR tools and processes

About you

  • You are passionate about people and committed to providing high-quality service
  • You enjoy teamwork and have excellent organizational skills
  • You are fluent in French and/or Dutch and can communicate effectively in both languages, as well as in English (spoken and written)
  • You have a good knowledge of Belgian social and labor law
  • You are proficient in IT tools, and the Office Suite holds no secrets for you
  • You have 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
