For Martin’s Patershof Hotel in Mechelen, we are looking for a Guest Relation.

The hotel is ideally situated in the city center of vibrant Mechelen, within walking distance of the Grand Place and all major tourist attractions.

About the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic new colleague to join our reception team as a Guest Relation.
This position involves a two-shift system (morning and evening shifts – training and backup for night shifts if necessary).

Your responsibilities :

• Checking in and out (international) hotel guests.
• Informing guests about the hotel’s facilities as well as the tourist attractions in Mechelen.
• Performing various administrative tasks (invoicing, cash register closing, etc.).
• Managing reservations via our system, email, or phone.
• Ensuring the general safety of the hotel and its guests.
• Communicating and reporting within the different departments.

About you

• You are welcoming, spontaneous, and proactive.
• You have a strong team spirit.
• You speak French, Dutch, and English.
• Knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Opera Cloud program is an advantage.
• You have previous experience in a similar role.
