Commis de Salle (flexijob)

For hotel Martin's Rentmeesterij in Bilzen, we are looking for a  Commis de Salle (flexijob) for our gastronomic restaurant AKKO and other gastronomic events.

The hotel is housed in a magnificent historic building from the 13th century, which has been extended with a beautiful contemporary wing. It overlooks a cosy courtyard and the estate's extensive wooded gardens, which lend themselves perfectly to hosting events. 
Restaurant Akko is listed with a 13.5/20 in the Gault & Millau and mention in numerous other culinary guides.

For Sébastien Oger, Chef de Cuisine, cooking is above all a clever mix of know-how, passion and precision. The creative young chef graduated from the Ilon-Saint-Jacques hotel school in Namur, after which he gained solid experience in several starred restaurants. During his career, he has also worked under the wings of Yves Mattagne and Wout Bru.

About the job

• You have experience in catering, meetings and events;
• You have an interest in gastronomy and a first experience in a gastronomic restaurant;
• You have a basic knowledge of wines and other drinks;
• You know your way around and can see the work that has to be done;
• You're flexible and don't mind rolling up your sleeves.

Your profile

• You are hospitable and have an eye for detail;
• You have team spirit;
• You speak Dutch or another language ;
• You have a similar (first) experience.
